Why This Corridor Matters

North Macedonia is an EU-candidate country, giving Chinese partners a foothold close to EU markets. China remains one of the world's largest sourcing and investment partners for Macedonian businesses. The Chamber exists to make that corridor easier to use.

The economic performance of the Macedonian economy is expressed through stable GDP growth, a controlled inflation rate, fiscal discipline confirmed by international financial institutions, and well-functioning coordination between fiscal and monetary policy.

Macedonia is a signatory to three multilateral Free Trade Agreements: the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA with the EU), EFTA, and CEFTA.
